This was my grandmother's car that I acquired in 2008. She didn't really take care of it but it was garage kept, so it stayed away from any hard deterioration. I take care of it to the best of my ability, keeping it shiny and intact. I hit a deer in 2010 and paid $2,000 to have most of the front replaced by a local company that knew my family. She also had a factory defect involving the camshaft that caused her to break down twice, but that has since been resolved (to my knowledge). And as of May 2013, I have a freshly rebuilt transmission!
This was my grandma and grandpas car that they bought brand new. Some years after grandpa died and grandma wasn't driving it my dad tried buying it from her. She finally decided to and he fixed it back up. After it sat at his place for 6 - 8 years and with being the child out of six showing it any attenrion(cleaning it, occasionally starting it) he past it down to me on one of my birthdays.
3.5 L LX5 DOHC V6, automatic trans, 26 miles per gallon, slow to accelerate but swift when she gets going.
Two-tone "Pewter" interior, traction control, power windows, etc. Used to have great speakers, but one blew out.
It's a base model Malibu. Didn't really have any options
