Topic: People are joining my group page, but they are not reading the requirements and joining the club. How do I fix this?

I have heard from a few club owners who they are having a difficult time with motortopia members who are joining thier group's page, but have no desire to actually join the club. I did a quick search through many of the groups and found that this can easily become a problem. If you are concerned with this I recommend that you add a blurb to your "About" section. The Capitol City Ford and Mustang Club did just that and appears to have good results.

Their section reads: "NOTE: Membership to this Club requires filling out a membership form and paying the $15 annual dues. Sorry for any inconveniences or misunderstandings this may have caused."

UPDATE: All clubs now have the membership requirements available to them. Anytime a motortopia member requests to join your club, they will recieve a prompt asking them if they fully understand the membership requirements.

To access your membership requirement, go to the "edit group" section of your club page. The requirements box is located directly beneath the "about" section.
