HELP! I'm an eBay trade assistant, and I've been selling a whole bunch of things for a client. One of the things I'm supposed to list today is this neat old Chevrolet Dealership clock The problem is, I cannot find anything on the internet like it. The clock lights up and there is this tube inside that rotates projecting different sayings onto the clock. I'm trying to find a date for it, and get some idea of value, etc. If you have any clue, I'd appreciate your help.

    Sayings are:

    SWEEP-SIGHT WINDSHIELD
    FOUR FENDER VISIBILITY
    “TURBO-FIRE” V8
    “BLUE-FLAME 136” SIX
    “BLUE-FLAME 123” SIX
    SUPER-SMOOTH POWERGLIDE
    TOUCH-DOWN OVERDRIVE
    QUIET-EASE SYNCHRO-MESH
    GLIDE-RIDE FRONT SUSPENSION
    OUTRIGGER REAR SUSPENSION
    50% MORE RIGID FRAME
    “SHOW CAR” STYLING
    COLORMATIC INTERIORS

    Outside dimensions:

    Top – 16-7/8”
    Bottom – 14-1/8”
    Sides – 17”

    Top depth – 4-1/2”
    Bottom depth – 2-1/2”

You can see a picture of it at http://previe...rl.com/4xatot

    Thanks for any help.

If memory serves me well, the Turbo-Fire V-8 was introduced in the 1955 Chev line-up.
So we could now assume that the clock would be from sometime after that.

If at first you don't succeed, destroy all evidence that you tried.

This clock is from the mid-50s or maybe a little later. The 265 V8 first appeared in the 1955 model year.

I'm no expert and don't take my word for gospel, but I think those slogans describe the newly styled 1958 model Chevy. kool clock, does it keep time too?
