Well I guess I am supposed to stop in, say hi and introduce myself.
My name is Merinda and I am a native Washingtonian, born and raised in the Pacific Northwest and would not trade that for anything.
I am the proud owner of a 1967 Mustang coupe and a 2000 Mustang coupe.
The 67 has always been my dram car but life had to run it's course. Being a mom, working and all the things that can be thrown at you.
Once my boys grew up and left the nest it was time for me to enjoy things and last year my dream came true. We found a 67, she was in rough shape but she was a diamond in the rough. 1 year later we had her done, working weekends and some evenings that year we were able to completely restore her. My dream come true.
Well just yesterday I made another leap, I traded my Buick (no comments or snickers) and I bought a 2000 Mustang to match the 67, I had to. So now I am the proud owner of 2 wonderful cars.
Thanks for letting me join and for having a place for us to meet.
Also I am the proud mother of an Army veteran (OIF2/OIF4) and an active duty Staff Sgt in the Air Force, so if you see a soldier please thank him for his service. They are the ones who put the FREE in FREEdom. For all you vets and active duty out there "THANK YOU"
