LOL classic firebird.
I am still pretty new here and am just getting the hang of challenges. I didn't challenge anyone myself for a few weeks, not because I didn't want to, but more bc I tend to be quite a bit on the shy side. I hadn't finished filling out the information on their pages,
,still haven't (just in case u havent "met" me: I am a married mother of 4 young boys. All 4 of them have ADD, but sometimes this place reminds me of a farm rather than a house...lol...it's all good though bc we take and deal w/ what we are given. They are loved to death). But anyway, the reason for sharing such a private aspect of my life is to hopefully help (some) people that may not know someone else's personal situation, understand that maybe their profile is not finished, the car only has half a doz pictures or the owner doesn't respond very quickly or even "loses" a messg that was sent to their inbox, NOT always bc they don't care or that they are lazy, but bc they only have an hour or less a day that they can be online, total. And at that point they are sometimes so drained physically that they can barely string two words together, much less write an intelligible paragraph abt their car! I am not suggesting this is always the case, but I think blank areas or only a few pics on the car's page shouldn't automatically cause another member to not vote for that car, if they like the car and otherwise would have voted for it. Blank areas are not always due to not caring/being lazy/being arrogant, etc.
I don't completely understand Mark's (?) comment abt how he never votes for a few makes of car. I, like most people, do have preferences (note my username..haha), but I wouldn't exclude voting for several makes of car if the car is really cared for, has obviously been kept up and loved, or deserves the vote bc it's a beautiful or exceptionally unique car. But of course it's his right to vote how he wants, just like everyone else.
I realize that this may have strayed way off topic (remember it was not originally abt cheating), so I will close here. My main point was (in case I was so long winded that it got lost in there.. :tongue) is that you should vote keeping the car itself as the main focus, not bc of the person or how u feel abt them. Ur first impression abt the person may not be accurate anyway. Isn't this supposed to be abt the cars, not a person popularity contest?
