I'm guessing you have an L98? Most "stock" classes just need the car to appear stock so porting and gutting parts, a good tune, valvetrain (cam) and drivetrain (final gear, clutch) upgrades and some fuel upgrades are possible while keeping the car to appear stock on inspection. You could easily get over 300 hp and people would not be able to tell from the outside. It depends on your competition rules though and how far you want to go with it.

I'd read up on some L98 enthusiast forums for what other 3rd gen F-body owners are doing to their cars for ideas.
