    Suggestions:

I would also like to see it happen first part of June as Christie Jo is a teacher and I work in the school setting myself.

Less hotel breakfast buffets, I can barely fit my clothes lmao image no that was great!

I would not want to change anything about how we communicate in car with CB radios, it's great fun and obviously part of the whole experience. However sometimes things happen when we're not in our cars that leave you feeling lost. This year we went to Indiantown for some serious lovebug removal, and barely made it to the Bandit Bash because we left earlier than expected. Would it be possible to set up a bandit it run group through text messaging where, when things like that happen a simple text could be sent to the group?

We also enjoyed the two night stay, getting up and on the road lets us see as much country as possible, but it does wear you down.

Destinations; This years run was so different than last years, the variety is awesome! Vegas, Grand Canyon............the possibilities are endless smile image

Congrats on you getting married in March and possibly having a Bandit Run honeymoon, but a Bandit Run wedding.......that would be a memory for a lifetime.

James - Tell Christie Jo I'll buy her a case if I can make it next year. An alternative is for you two to come to Alberta for a visit. We'll drink some real beer then.
Take care & we'll talk soon.

I totally agree with the two night stay. Being up in time to be packed, loaded and breakfast out of the way before the 8am Driver's meeting is hard day after day. I liked Poncho's idea about some short runs during the day, then back to the host hotel that evening.
I am ok with just about anytime of the year as long as we have at least a 6 month notice of the date it will be held. Working in the dental profession, patients are scheduled for their next 6 month check up, so it is a blessing for me to be able to mark that time off before it gets booked.
Jupiter Beach was a great time, but I didn't care for the "four star" hotel either. I understand the beach was the reason, but after all, was there any time for the beach. Also the cost was way too high!
I loved the free time also! It gave Mike and I time to spend with other runners and get to know them!
I also wished we had some type of name cards with our Motortopia handle on it so we would recognize who people are.

All in All....this was the best time Mike and I have had in a long, long time! The people we met are fabulous! I enjoyed this so very much. Thanks to all who had a hand in this event..Job Well Done!!! Marcia

This was my first run but it was one of the best times i've had in a long while. I was worried being a resident of Florida that I might not be to entertained but I saw some places I never knew existed here. Awesome! I did enjoy the two nights in Daytona, that was the best time, I met alot of great people, had a blast at Hooters. It was obvious alot of planning went into this.

    As far as major suggestions:
    1. I like Ponchos idea of maybe having a host hotel and doing day trips to venues and returning to the same place that night.
    2. Another Hooters party, need I explain?
    3. I like the text idea to keep everyone in the loop. On the longer hauls the group breaks up.
4.Lovebugs, not your fault, im still picking them off, welcome to FL everyone wink image
    5. Im all for starting at Year One, great host, great sponsor. It really gets me amped being there.
    6. Im not sure what kind of consideration goes into checking the roads, ie rough spots, pot holes ect... Having a lowered car its murder for me. If its not taken into consideration, id like to ask that it is. The route this run was smooth, so no complaints.
    7. More back roads, that was awesome leaving Braselton, nice to see the countryside.
    8. If you dont have a CB, get one, I didnt have one, but seems like the toy to have on the ride.

I cant say enough wonderful things about Bandit Run. People ask what it is and what we do, and when I tell them they are in awe. It really is a great event, the most fun ive ever had in a Trans Am with my pants on. Everyone who plans and makes this happen, excellent work, keep it up, whatever you decide to do next year I have no doubt it will be another great time. I found out its not the cars that make this great, its the people. Leaving Orlando, I felt like I was leaving family. Hope to see some of you at Nationals.

    Debbie,
You know me... it doesn't matter where we go as long as we GO! The BR is special! Every year seems to get better. The highlight this year was Daytona... 2 nights with a "free" day and then the Hooters Cruise-in was awesome! 'Course I love Daytona... that's why they call it the World's Most Famous Beach!

I missed having a specific car show at the end... that's my only thought. It is good to have a car event at the end. Seems to finalze the run.

Can't wait for next year! Hope to see most of ya throughout the year again this year!

Although short, I enjoyed getting to meet the people that I did. The 2nd day run from Braselton through the countryside was very enjoyable. Once we hit the interstate, it seemed to be a free for all though. On I-75 south of Macon, my bug detector went off so I had to take the bird back home (lmao), actually, the Blue Bird without working a/c had a lot to do with it. mad image

A Fall Run through the mountains (Skyline Drive through Virginia) would be most spectacular in the Fall, or really anytime up there. tongue image

Good job on planning from everyone behind the scenes.

Maybe someone out ther could print up "participants" with cards that had pictures of their car and Motortopia name on it?? Then, just ask someone for their card and you know who you're talking to and how to keep in touch after the run.

I'll have to stick a CB in the car for the next trip.

A big thanks to Dave, Kevin King, and Ron for all there work in the event..It was a good time and went to fast...I liked the idea of two days at one spot that way we could rest and enjoy the town...

I talked to Kevin and hope Dave agrees that next years Bandit Run would be great to go through the Blue Ridge Parkway!! I would love to help co-ordinate this for a fall Bandit Run along with Ron! It would be awesome to go through Cherokee get up on Parkway and stop in Asheville. Visit the Biltmore Estate and Winery and then next day continue to Grandfather Mountain highest point on East coast...Can drive all the way to the top....Stay in Blowing rock or Boone. Next day continue to either Outer Banks and drive up and down the coast staying in Wilmington NC...Next day go to Charlotte Motor Speedway.. Lots of things to do and see along the way...

    What do you'll think??/

By the way Manny still need a tow truck!!!

Thanks to all the folks who worked so hard to make this happen.

Sorry we had to run at the end without saying goodbye to everyone. We made it to Lexington an hour ahead of schedule and the wedding went very well. What a week!!!.

Hope to see a lot of you at Nationals.

Thanks Stan! We hope to make the Nationals this year! Look forward to seeing you there! I am glad to hear you guys made the wedding in Lexington!
    Take care... see ya soon!
