I have been getting some questions about the optional Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue dinner and show on Thursday night (May 20th 7:15 pm). I was able to reserve 40 seats in the least expensive section. We will be seated in the balcony. Prices will be approximately $53 per person (ages 10- adult) ages 3-9 is around $27. Ages 2 and below are no charge. Dave and I are working on the best way to take reservations and payment for this event. As soon as we figure it out, Dave will post the information on the BR homepage. You are in no way obligated to attend the dinner. I was just looking for something fun we could do together on our last "official" night that did not require park tickets. The restaurants cannot handle a group that is so large. (I looked into a private event but the prices started at $65/person. wide-eyed image ) The great thing about Hoop-Dee-Doo is that the food is unlimited and so is the wine/beer/and soda. Plus you are getting a show for the price. In addition, the tip is already added in.We can take complimentary Disney transportation to the dinner and we will not have to move our cars from their secured location.

If we run out of seats, we may be able to get a few more but they will be at a more expensive price. So once the info is posted and you are sure you want to attend, book early. banana-roxor image

    Excerpt from the WDW site:
"Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is an old-fashioned dinner show that includes foot-stompin' music, nostalgic comedy and an all-you-care-to-eat dinner at Pioneer Hall in Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. Get ready for good, ol' country fun!

A long-time family favorite, the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is hosted in a rustic dance hall, with rousing Wild West dancing, singing, and zany vaudeville comedy. You never know what to expect from the high-spirited Claire de Lune, Johnny Ringo, Dolly Drew, Six Bits Slocum, Flora Long and Jim Handy.

As the Pioneer Hall Players perform skits and early song standards, equally sassy Cast Members serve your countrified feast. Between laughs, chow down on pails of all-you-care-to-eat American favorites like fried chicken, smoked BBQ pork ribs, seasonal vegetable, baked beans, fresh baked corn bread and strawberry shortcake. Unlimited draft beer, wine, sangria and soft drinks are included for Guests 21 years of age or older (proper ID required).

As the performance rounds out, you may be asked to join in the finale—a musical tribute to Davy Crockett. Your inner bumpkin just might emerge.

Bring your whole clan of kin folk and join the frolicking fun of this folksy extravaganza."
