    Mike--

Although I'm currently planning on shipping my car (or possibly cars, I'm thinking about bringing the '73 as well) to Atlanta this year to keep the wear and tear off the T/As, my plans are always subject to change.

If I decide to drive the entire route, I'll keep you posted in case the timing works out well for us to caravan in the opposite direction for 2010.

I have an added value for Bandit Runners coming from the West of the Mississippi River. I have a local car club member that has over 4700 scale die cast cars displayed in his home, on every wall, in every room. He was featured on Mississippi Roads recently and I will post the video once received. Bob has offerred a tour to our group. I assume everyone will be coming through on May 14th (Friday) since the Bandit Run begins the following day. This will give us an opportunity to stretch our legs a bit before heading to Georgia. Bob has virtually every car, make, model and color ever produced in minature scale, including several "Bandit" Trans AMs, one featured on the TV program.

This is likely the largest collection of diecast car in the United States, certainly Mississippi. Bob says "I have several Bandit cars in various scales but my collection includes a complete history of the automobile and how it has evolved over the years."

If anyone is interested in seeing this collection let me know so I can make plans with Bob. We will need to set a time for him and schedule it based on an approxiamate time you all will be passing through Jackson. Let me know if there is any interest.

Sounds like it would be fun to go to Jackson just to be able to see this collection!
