Is there a particular hotel in Branson that the Run is being centered at? I've noticed a few people have mentioned they already have their rooms booked. I know the itinerary is yet to be announced but I wonder if it might not be a bad idea to book a room sooner than later and if one hotel in particular is going to be the "home base", I'd like to get a room before it fills up. Any suggestions, anyone?

Well.. with there NOT being a Year One Experience this year, that will help keeping hotels open, as I would imagine thats a pretty big draw...

The RAMC and Year One folks will post the hotel and travel agent info on the website with a blog on this Forum as I recall from last year. No worries mate! They will hold a block of rooms for each hotel and give a specific date for every one to book by a certain deadline.

I am tring to figure if I can make it this year, gas prices look better, but I need to know what was the room costs at the motels on average? I would be coming from Sidney Ne. about 375 west of Lincoln Ne., looks like at least 3000 mile round trip.

The need for is growing and spring is time to bring out the BARR"S AM for the shake down run, hope all of you are ready as I am.

The hotels along the route last year were usually in the range of $70-90 as best as I can recall. However, the more feasible way is to have another Bandit Runner run along to share a double room and cut the costs in half! After all, these days, everyone is pinching pennies!

Dang it Dang it Dang it!!! Is it May yet? I can't wait for this. It's like a dream come true for me. I remember when I first fell in love with Firebird / Trans Am. I was about 7 going to Matt Merceir's house for cub scouts. When his dad opened the garage door.... there it was... in all it's glory, a 75 TA. I've been hooked ever since. Through Smokey and the Bandit, Hooper, Knight Rider... I love Firebirds. I've been feeding myself BR 07 and 08 pics, vids and stories. This will be my first BR. I can't wait to meet you all and take in your awesome cars! hyper image

P.S. Flying solo as of now, so if someone else needs to split room costs, I'd be interested.

My daughter is also planning to come this year after graduating from college May 9th! Another reason I cannot join you guys before the 11th! It will be good to have someone riding shotgun and running the camera this year!

    Getting excited already!!!!!!!!!!!!!
