Definately do it again. I like the idea of the quicky trips and then long ones for the Anniverseries. It doesn't really matter to me as long as we can have a good amount of time to prepare for the run and we all can get together. Jason

I for one would like to see the run to atlanta repeated because i liked the movie tour so much! The traffic was bad because of that wreck, this can be avoided next year with a route around the main roads.

Now, IF there has to be a different location, how about F-body week at Mrytle beach SC in Aug!! biggrin image You cant argue with the beach!!

I should say the traffic is right there with Washington DC. The area was real nice and the people were nice as well. But man is it hard to get around. Once we got by Year One, it was great. We have some traffic in Philly, but that is alot of highway down there.

I can't wait to see the truck and trailor next year! How are you doing the graphics on the side? Are you using a wrap like they do on a bus? I have a friend that owns an RV and he wants to wrap it with the the scene from the movie truck.

Considering the weather......how about a run that ends up at the STARS show in March. If not, then the best venue would be another destination at the YO Experience. Having the access to road atlanta is probably the best place for show and driving around the track.

I have to admit, they were saying it was going to be as good as the drive. I did not believe them at 1st. I do now. That track is awesome! Year One did a great show. We had a ton of fun there.

We at Yearone are glad to hear that you liked the event. We're all hoping that all of you will come back to see us if not for the Yo/Ex then maybe one of our monthly shows if you're close enough. I know personally that I had a great time meeting as many of you as I could. We were all equally disappointed that Burt called in sick but hopefully there was enough activity at the show to overcome the letdown. We appreciate that you all hung in there for the entire run and arrived in good spirits despite that huge accident and traffic jam. I was also wondering if any of you had any special moments along the run or at the show that stood out for you. I know I had quite a few. Thanks again, Mike.

Hello folks, this is my first post on forums. I am Jerrame, the one driving the orange and black TA.
First let me say I had a great time on the bandit run. thanks to everyone for making it happen and making it all work, really very smoothly for the first one. two things I want to mention about bandit run 2008, and it really makes no difference to me where it is ran at, I will follow. with that said could it really be called a bandit run if it didn't at least have the same starting and stopping point as the movie? thats why a trip with a destination to dayton sounds great ( I go every year)but i don't know if it should be called a bandit run. the other thing i wanted to yack about is if the bandit run is done yearly, how are the local towns and law enforcment going to react? are they going to be warm and receiving like this time, or will they grow tired of it? well just wanted to let out a couple of questions and make an apearance on the forums. if any one is planning the trans am NATS. in dayton this year let me know maybe we can join up.

Just isn't the same without the truck running along with the TAs. You can bet it will be better with the truck running along with them. I would take the truck over the TAs anyday. biggrin image
