Since we didnt get the opportunity to meet with him I am very curious as to what he thinks of the Nationals and of this event he has played such a huge role in the TA...would it be asking to much for some sort of interview from maybe Hot Rod or someone and link it to this site ?
Id also love to know if it is true that he never recieved any TA from pontiac and that there r trully none left from the movie as far as he knows ?

I met a guy who manages the Nashville Country Music museum and he claims that the car given to Jerry Reed by Burt Reynolds after the movie is housed in the museum. May have to go to Nashville and see biggrin image

I have an autobiography on Burt that was written back in the 90's that includes a picture of the ceremony where Burt gave Jerry the car!! So it must be true.

I could care less about Burt. He "called in sick"? sarcastic image
Well, if that's how he feels about the "smokey and bandit" following, then he can just stay sick. I'm sure there wasn't enough money being offered. hyper image

He may not have even known about the Bandit Run since it was a separate event.
