Paint is done, interior is in, new tires, new ehaust and CB installed. Thought I was ready and now it won't start. Back to shop for fuel tank/pump replacement.

Feb. 21 was Fat Tuesday in the Big Easy and I will have beads for everyone. You know the tradition of how to get them but we are a family event so the rules will change. I'll pass beads out to everyone and when Loon does the illusive Loon Walk across a parking lot one drunken night (trust me it happens every year) we will all throw beads at him rotfl image

Any day above ground is a GOOD day!!!

FAT Tuesday in Angleton Tx---a depressing day until I see images of a bonfire on the beach, too many beers, and solargold throwing beads at a dancing Loon---much better now.

Still trying to get my new motor put in. Should be done tomorrow in the early afternoon. After that, I'm trying to get knee surgeries out of the way so I won't have to worry about ripping stitches while shifting too fast. lmao image Just waiting on the finances to get here before I make my reservations. I hope they get here in time, otherwise I'll be sleeping in my car!

The only place that will hold a deposit is Biloxi (they hold the one night rate) other than that you should be safe to make reservations. I have been telling folks to make them even if you need to cancel them later. Rooms are booking fast. One of our hotels only had 3 rooms left the other day. All our hotels will honor the Bandit Run rate as long as they still have rooms. This year we are taking all their rooms lol. I think we now have over 60 rooms a night booked at all our hotels. In comparison, last year we averaged 25-30 rooms a night. this is gonna be a big one folks.

Debbie, that is great news about it being a big one this year.
I hope the media takes notice, as it would serve to stir even more people to join us in years to come, AND help add to the Wounded Warriors Fund!
I'm proud to be a part of this group, and my only regret is that I didn't start back in 2007!

Yes I hope the wounded warrior charity benefits from this years event as well as the fuel for the truck is covered !!! Given that after all it IS the 35th anniversary of the movie SATB there should be a record number of entries I would expect ??
