    Shaker--

Y'know, I can't help but think if Hal Needham was directing a 2012 version of SATB, the rig wouldn't be pulling a load of bootleg Coors beer. It'd be Sunoco Ultra 94.

Wonder how the stagecoach graphic would look painted on the side of a stainless steel tanker.

Riding the bike will come just 3 weeks after the end of the Bandit Run.
My son and I are headed out to Colorado to ride the roads around Gunnison.
We'll also be going up Pikes Peak.

I don't know what I'm more excited to do, but it's going to be a good summer, that's for sure!!

I've got nothing done on either car 'cause of that darn bike. no image And it's got straight pipes! I'm almost deaf in the right ear now! You ever heard a 990 cc rotary engine with straight pipes? dizzy image

I have had fun though! Wow! Gotta have me another bike for sure for sure! yes image

You know moped image psst image ...we need us another evil kneivel on the run with blue lights and all! smirk image Then we could pull Wayne over while Buford goes for the Bandit(s). cool image

Yeah, I've had a lot of different bikes over the years... dirt and road...my favorite was a Honda 450 twin cylinder with shorty straight pipes. That '73 bike was loud also and it was raked just a bit. Those were the days before the big cc bikes much... heck the biggest thing around those days that were common were the CB750s and maybe a HD Roadster or two. I like to ride! Maybe one day I'll get another one. If gas keeps going up eek image , it may be sooner than later.

Just last fall I spent a few days with the bike and some great riding friends camped out at the KOA in Tellico Plains (I know, tornado blew it away a couple weeks ago). and rode the Charahala Skyway, Tail of the Dragon, Rt 28, down into north GA, hell I lost track of where all we went, but I had the time of my life!
I can't wait to hang out with those guys again, their kinda like the Bandit Runners, just damn nice folks sharing a common interest.

Here I am on the Dragon!

From Hollywood Al. Now Shaker, the northern folks understand etyet, upair, nawlins, and louavil and we drink unsweetened iced tea. We also understand fix'n to go sum where and we know where chitlins and cracklins come from. We also understand that SATB was a documentary-----the Firehawk is coming together. See you in Vicksburg in a few days. I tried counting sleeps but between NASCAR and March Madness I can get to ten sleeps in an afternoon.
