In years past, we've had a pretty wide combination of other models running with us on the run from the very first Bandit run in 2007 all the way through last year's 2011 run from Lincoln. Heck, we've even had rental cars join us. Folks fly in or drive in, rent a car and tag along.

We welcome all makes and models. While the Bandit Run celebrates the SATB legacy, we all love to watch most all performance cars. We've had GTOs, Mustangs, Challengers, Chargers, 'Vettes,
trucks, Bonnevilles, etc. so you see you don't have to drive a TA or Firebird or even a Pontiac to join us on the Bandit Run.

Welcome One and ALL !! It'll be the most fun you've had in your ride! So come for part of it or all of it, just come have some fun with us! Anyone coming in a Mustang or Challenger or Vette or any other make that isn't a Firebird this year?

Let us hear from you if you are!

    Welcome!

Well -- I think I'm gonna rent something for LJ to drive this year on the run... perhaps a new Mustang or Camario. Maybe a 'vette.

What'd yall think? Gotta do something to get my oldest brother involved. wink image

Anyone else got a brother or sister driving separately on the run this year?

Oh man, if you're gonna rent your bro a vette, rent him one of those HZH Vette from Hertz. (that is if they still have them) but anyhoo, do whatever you have to do to include him...the more the merrier. I think theres 5 or 6 people from my car club gonna make a portion of the Run with us.

Yeah, I've rented a ZHZ before. He may get into trouble with that one... I better just let him ride with me. wink image

I do hope we have some car clubs that join us. I think the show day in Biloxi is gonna be wild just do to so many restored vehicles in the area. This may be a run to remember!!!

"Look at all 'em Camaros"... that phrase used to make me so mad. Now I realize that ignorance is... well as L.J. says: "You can't fix stupid!"

By the way, that's just 60 cars (above if I counted right) and that's exactly half of what we are expecting in Texarkabanana !! YAAHOOO! Look at all 'em Birds! steeringwheel image

Few years back I went down to the bodyshop where I go to get things done on my bird, I wasn't there for awhile and asked them a estimate on fixing my car, and they go "you got a camaro right"? Drives me nuts too!

Yeah the whole "Camaro-Firebird" thing drives me insane as well. I've done reached the point that I dont even bother correcting anyone anymore. I figure if they cant at least read the damn emblems on the side or front of the car, that my telling them what it is wont make any difference.

Yeah and it's ever worse when your car is a PONTIAC from the engine down to the emblems! It's like when folks call a paper clip a "GEM" clip. All paper clips aren't made by GEM and all GM's aren't made by Chifferoid (southernese for Chevrolet) wink image

lol whats REALLY bad is, I have PONTIAC in white across the top of the windshield, gold "firebird" and "pontiac" on the doors/rear bumper, plus gold eagles on the wheel center caps...and people STILL call it a Camaro. It sometimes makes me want to snatch 'em up back the nap of the neck and scream "WHAT DOES THAT SAY???" biggrin image
