Hey guys, maybe this will wake you up. . .
From my last post, there were many concerns about the SATB rig going on this year's run due to high fuel costs. It will be very tight on costs and we really need more $$$ support, but I think it is safe for the rig to go. I didn't want Wayne to hit the road with low funds and a thirsty truck. Please continue to give any thing you can, especially during the run.
To all who have given funds, past and present, THANK YOU. I received funds from runners who aren't going this year, but cared deeply for those of you that are going. They wanted all the runners to enjoy the rig, even if they couldn't. . many have asked what the bandit run is all about. . . . my answer has always been. . . . FRIENDS who are now FAMILY. We help each other out, in more ways than one. . .
There is a new T-shirt design for the rig. It will be a maroon shirt, (not black, too hot), with the rig on the front and a T/A on the back. Greg did an awesone job on the art work. They should be available in Lincoln, Nebraska and Wayne will have them on the entire trip to Atlanta.
Wayne and Tonya will pick up the rig this coming weekend for the Bandit Run. They will leave Sunday AM (March 26th) from Newnan, Ga., probably stop in Memphis overnight and continue to Independence, Missouri on Monday. I know several runners like to join him for part of the trip. If you want more details, just email me.
Lisa and I will not be on the run this year, but will meet everyone in Chattanooga. Movie tour is the following Sat. The rig is almost ready for the trip and I am trying very hard to get it ready. It needed alittle TLC. Lastily, I passed my college and state exams and now have my CDL. Don't worry, Wayne is our Snowman and always will be. I am just a backup driver in case.
Thanks for all the support!!
