as most of you all know the engine is in the car ad al hooked up now.. waiting for the last set of insulators to come in to put the radiator in permanently then buttone everything down... fill the radiator with fluid put the exhaust on and get the new tires I need then all will be done and ready to fly hyper image

Glad to hear everyone's cars are coming together nicely. I'm set up to go and get my y-pipe redone at 1030am today. It's banging on the floor board and scraping the ground due to the car being lowered. So hope to have it all taken care of in about 2hrs.

Well, exhaust is still a work in progress, Hope to have it all fixed by this weekend. I got the car tuned and it's running alot better and idles better. Unfortunetly I won't be running nitrous. Seem I've maxed out the stock pump NA and would need to upgrade the pump to run nitrous or get a stand alone fuel system. So I'm thinking of selling all my nitrous stuff and building a forged 402 ls2 and putting on a prochager with 12lb's of boost in the car. I'll have to save for a while to do it.

My radiator hose leak turned out be a leak in the radiator neck. Took it to be repaired and one leak led to another, then another, and another. Was surprised to see I had a 2 row radiator but the car did come from New York, where it has been all its life until I got it October '09. Leaks or not, I don't think the 2 row would have held up here in Mississippi, just ordered a heavy duty 4 row. With a non a/c car from the factory I am going to burn up in Florida but at least the engine will be cool.

Any day above ground is a GOOD day!!!

Nitrous is no more. I've pulled everything out, including the wideband and fuel pressure gauge. It will be different not having the gauges right there. Trying to sell it all and save for my new motor and Supercharger setup.

2nd try to fix the exhaust is happening tomorrow night after work. Shouldn't be to painful this time.

I've also got to do an oil change and check the rest of the fluids. I'm going with Amsoil 0w30 100% synthetic and filter for the oil. Starting to pack the car for the trip.

Leaving for a Marksmanship school and then back for a four days then it's time for the Bandit Run!!!!!!! hyper image hyper image hyper image banana-roxor image

So was changing the oil in the TA today. While taking the car off the jack stands I stood up and hit the rack that holds the shovels, rakes, hoes and what not. Then a HOE ended up in my passenger side t-top. SO I guess you can add T-top to the list of new things in the car for 2010. I've got to call the insurance company Monday.

Ouch! Sorry man, that's not cool. Sounds like you need to keep those hoes outta the garage. sarcastic image It's irritating when simple maintenance turns into bigger problems.

Hand Held CB went out on me last year on The Bandit Run 2009 Movie Tour so this week I'm installing a under the dash Cobra 19 DX IV - CB radio. Has some real good reviews and a few not so good, but with the correct antenna and tuned; it will be fine... Will see how it works... Has to be better than what I have right now... hyper image
