Back in 1984, I totalled my '77 400 4-speed TA, but have kept a bunch of parts from it for the past 20+ years, including the CB I had in it.

It's been bounced around all these years from place place in different storage locations, and this past weekend, I finally found it.

I cleaned it up, connected the wires to an adapter for the cigarette lighter, and the thing works! Really made my weekend and will be great to have for the Bandit Run.

As for my handle, I'm not very creative so I guess I'll just go with my Mototopia name, DualCarbGuy.

I'm guessing it won't work with the cb's. What you have is compatible to a short wave radio. You could grab a Motorola from Walmart or get on ebay.

Here's a photo below. Click on the link. Also, according to the add, Sam's had these Midland's on sale for $33 smacks. Not bad for a handheld 40 channel!

This is what we bought, not use to CB's so be helpful to us, as I said before we don't talk much until we have a few, then look out.

The need for is growing and spring is time to bring out the BARR"S AM for the shake down run, hope all of you are ready as I am.

convertible image convertible image convertible image Luckily there is a "CB shop" a few miles away. Nice older man with lots of knowledge. He sold us a used CB and antenna; total $50. Made sure it worked in the car and checked again when we were driving home. We're ready!

I made a plate to hold my cobra antenna. slips under t-top bar and wraps around back of sail panel and bends down. can only be removed by opening hatch
