Description: For all you serious engine guys. This is probably the best engine I've ever built from scratch. Dart block, Callies crank, Carrillo rods (the good ones), Wiesco pistons, Comp mechanical roller, .654 .674 (not too big, it's a streetable motor), Crane solid roller lifters, Polished Edelbrock 8559 heads (yeah, all done up), Manley pushrods, Crane roller rockers, Wieand street dominator, 1050 Holley (yeah, I want E.F.I. but $$), Moroso head studs (no, they don't make 'em anymore), Pertronix ignitor 3. Well, that gives you and ideal. Hope to have it running Sat. I've been buying this stuff at Carlisle, car flea markets and Ebay, some of it I've had a lot of years (like the head stud kit). Computer says it will make an honest 950+hp and over 900 ft lbs. May be a little overkill :). It's going in my 66 SS Chevelle that I bought May 19, 1968. Yep, my first car. This will be (hopefully) its last motor. The 638 for the Vega is next. PS. I thought I had downloaded the pics as I was going along. I will add more soon.
