Description: This is my Bro in-laws car a 1974 Pantera, but as of late I'm the mechanic and detailer to get the car back to a running state. Previous attempts of dealership so called mechanics have failed to one degree or another in getting the car where it should be. Too many hands and not enough will to stop and think before making wrong gudgement calls. The car has been repainted to the correct paint scheme, but already needs to be redone as well as body damage repaired. I replaced the carpet with new, rewired the wiring harness to be able to run updated alternator, electronics, detailed undercarriage and engine bay. (I did not pick the engine paint color) The mechanics before installed a wrong distributor gear and shortly after stating the engine the teeth were chewed off, (it required a bronze gear) needless to say all the teeth that got chewed off ended up in the engine which ment a engine tear down, clean and reassemble. This is where I'm at now, going back together with the engine. There was a lengthy lapse in time when I wanted the owner to shuck some $$$ out for the correct size headers after he wanted me to port and polish the cylinder heads, intake manifold, so you will see that the headers have been ported the best they can be without getting new ones. This is a Ford 351 cleveland engine that has been bored .030 over with roller cam, lifters and rocker arms. should make around 450hp at the wheels.
