Just a nice old truck purchased pretty much as you see it and it was build this way in the late 60's. Still has all the original "rodding" character such as waffle vinyl interior, CB, old radar detector, SW gauges, American Racing Torq's. The truck was built up on a 1961 Ford frame then a stake rear bed was built. I guess back then you not only had to have a mechanical aptitude but be a woodworker as well. Now for a period powertrain...1958 Chevy 283 with a powerglide.
The body was located in the hills of Montana, taken back to California where it was put together as you see it here. The owner then moved back to Montana, passed it on to his brother who in turn passed it on to his son which is where I came in. Great truck for moving larger items, lots of attention and you don't often see these Internationals on the road of any age.
It is of interest to note although my son came up in the tuner age he is steadfastly holding on keepint this truck as it is.
