My father bought this car and restored it for the first time about 20 years ago. I had the honor of helping him with some of the tasks, like bleeding the brake system, among others. Sometime in the 90's he "updated" the restoration and tweaked the engine. He has kept this beauty all original. He has now passed away and my husband and I have kept this car as he would have, all original. We take it to car shows and drive it around our neighborhood in hopes to bring smiles to the faces of others around us. The day we brought it home, the guy down the street came over with a smile and a story of when he was a boy and rode in one just like ours. So many people remember my dad as "the guy with the old truck". Here, my father's legacy can live on and continue to bring smiles to those who knew him and loved him.
I also have another 37 Chevy 1/2 ton pick up truck that he had begun restoring. The cab is done and front fenders and the engine in place. This vehicle will have to be sold eventually.
This all original truck came with push button start, a/c and a heater! The a/c is "open your windshield! The heater is one little vent on the passenger side.
