1952 Chevrolet Advanced Design (Stovebolt)

Last updated Sep 4, 2011

Photo of a 1952 Chevrolet Advanced Design (Stovebolt)

This one is only temporarily mine, customer is over a year, or is it two, over due on his three figure bill, but his intentions are good, and just when I'm ready to give up on him he seems to appear with two figures in hand. Most shops would pull such a title, but... I like people, and I get caught in their dreams.

This Stovebolt was taken under our Store to Restore / Store to Rod program created to help with our pore economy. Basically for the 200 or 300 a month that a Storage Facility might charge, we store your ride and work on it too. Well she might get caught in a few photo shoots along the way.

Sweetheart, 350 crate built to the hilt with plenty of billet aluminum and powder coated extras. Lowered custom frame. 350 turbo, and Ford 9" Corvette Rallies with Lo Pro Dunlap tires.

Factory Options

A/C, no that wouldn't be factory.
400 hp, no that wouldn't be factory.
Automatic, , no that wouldn't be factory.
Power Disk Brakes, no that wouldn't be factory.
Custom Performance Seats, no that wouldn't be factory.
TPI, no that wouldn't be factory.
Comfort Designed Ride (suspension), no that wouldn't be factory.

Awe Shucks, what is factory then?
The Sheet Metal? No, custom fabricated.
Some of the sheet metal then? Well maybe. A piece from this, a part from that.
