I was looking for a project car to work on with my sons. As I was hunting for a 60s Camaro I ran across this car sitting in someones yard with the windows down, flat tires, rotted sidepipes and weeds growing all around it. Turns out that an electrical fire had melted all of the wiring and the car did not run any more. Well after letting the boys look at the car they decided that this was the one.
It is a 1964 that was modified back in the early 70s. Original color was red.
It has a 454 with dual quads stuffed under the hood.
Four speed with a scatter shield
Not sure of what is in the engine. I will have to do a tear down to check it out.
Pulled off the valve covers and found roller rockers
Carbs are not set as progressive. All eight barrels dump into the low rise intake at once.
6500 rpm tach
80lb oil pressure gauge
Huge fuel tank
Fuelie radiator support
Might be an original Fuelie vette
No power anything
Front clip may have been replaced
Flared rear deck
High energy ignition
