Corvettes are meant to be DRIVEN, not stashed away in some garage waiting for them to appreciate. As far as I'm concerned, as long as it looks reasonably stock, I really don't care much about the numbers. A car like this can be driven without worrying about ruining anything. checkeredflag image

The car is a 1965 Corvette roadster. I purchased this car in the late 80's just prior to the beginning of market craziness that drove the price of anything up and introduced investors into a market that was previously primarily enthuiasts. This was a non numbers car and painted a beautiful Nassau Blue. I upgraded the car with a white leather interior, hardtop to match and reproduction knock off rims. It was a fabulous driver with a 350 HP 327 engine and a 4 speed. It looked original but as a matching car so sought after by anal buyers it was the wrong colour, wrong interior and replaced engine. The frame had been repaired as so many have been or more common is frame replacement. I didn't care because I wanted a 65 Vette to drive not showcase as an idle toy.

This car was to a fellow in Ottawa who kept it for a few years then I lost track.
