This was my sheet metal wife I had her for 17 years until the economy forced me to sell her she lives on the other side of the world now and is kicking some Aussie car butt vintage racing down under.
She was pweered by a .3030 over bored 302 that was dynoed at 431 HP at the Flywheel and 348 at the rear wheels it was backed by a top loader Ford tranny with a Lincoln Versailles nine inch rear end with a 4:11 to1 Detroit Locker. The car was featured in Mustangas and ford, Popular Hot Rodding and was a SEMA feature car two years in a row. It turned 12.81 at 114 MPH on the California Speedway Dragstrip when tested by Popular Hot Rodding. I built 85 % of this car the motor was speced by me but build by my friend Steve beck at Check point Automotive in 1997 and that same motor is still in the car to this day.
431 HP @ the Flywheel 348 HP @ the rear wheels, 12.81 at 114 MPH in tthe 1/4. .094 on the skid pad.
