Currently its 330CI, 2 spd auto convertible. Shortly it will be home to a stroked 455 with the Tri-Carb set up shown in my profile pic. I have a T400 switch-pitch transmission to go in it that has a low gear set installed for 1st/2nd gear. This is a full manual transmission with no upshift capability except for you moving the lever. I'd like to keep it basically stock with a few resto mods including the Super Stock 1 wheels although in 17 inch size. I loathe trailer queens and plan to drive the poo out of it.
1970 455 block with Bulldog heads flowing approx. 345/270 cfm. Hydraulic roller in the high 240 range at .050. Low .600s lift. Eagle 4.5 stroker crank with a bore to be determined, 4.20 - 4.25. 1966 Tri-Carb intake that will be Extrude Honed and a trio of Barry Grant Demon carbs from their Six-Shooter series. MSD distributor. 1 7/8 headers with a 3" Magnaflow exhaust system. 3673 weight empty.
My old motor in a 1970 Cutlass pulled 12.40s in the quarter and high 7.90s in the eighth. Olds 'E' heads pocket ported by Mondello. 288 degree Crane cam, .488 lift.
