Camaro X11 Coupe original A/C car, it still has the a/c dash but at one time someone bought a standard dash pad for the car and covered the center vents. The car does not have a/c now and I do not have any of the orginal components. The car was originally a small block car with manual tranny and 10 bolt rear.
Presently the car is a date code correct 1969 Yenko Camaro clone. Every component on this car is NOS, refurbished, or OER. Every mechanical component of this car is date code correct. The engine is a true 427ci 425hp block (casting 3963512) that was originally in a 1969 tri-power corvette. It was completely rebuilt using correct GM parts to original specifications. It has the correct winter's intake manifold with the correct Holley 4 barrel 4346 carburetor. The 3931063 heads were also rebuilt to original and installed along with Hooker ceramic headers that sound great! The transmission is a correct Muncie M22 rock crusher (3925660) that was completely rebuilt and it is mated to a 12 bolt rear end with 4:11 gears. It has had a complete tune-up and carb tuning that included installing the correct jets. She runs out great!
The body of this car is solid and the frost green paint is very good, there are quite a few flaws that when you get up close you can start picking on. It has a great finish on it but it's not a show car or trailer queen. It gets great looks as it is and is a great car for local cruise-ins and it's up to you whether you want to make it perfect or not, it wouldn't take much. Some of the bodywork done to the car was not the greatest. It seems that someone started doing a great job restoring the car then got impatient and rushed the final touches. It was originally my intention to remove the Yenko stripes and badging and do a SS tribute car instead but never got around to it.
The underside is clean the floor boards were replaced at a certain point, there is a soft spot about the size of a quarter on the passenger side forward corner of the floor pan, the trunk pan is perfect. Overall for a car that is 1969 vintage it is in extra great shape. The tires are in excellent condition and the wheels are new American Racing "D" rims that look great on the car. The front has disk brakes and the rear are drum (car stops great). The interior of the car is white and is mostly original and in very good condition. The seats, carpet, dash are all in great condition with no cracks. It has the correct 140 mph speedometer and Stewart Warner green line gauges.
