Went to Charlotte Speedway for a business lunch at the Speedway Club. Told my wife I wanted to go for the free lunch. Met the owner of a 70 Bonneville. Once I found out he would consider selling it, I had to go check it out.
Found her in the weeds, looking pretty bad. After a closer look I saw some shiny paint and vinyl under the mildew and dirt.I just had to rescue her. I'm the third owner. This car was well taken care of, as you'll see in the photo album. The car came with all the documentation since new.
I would like to tow my TA to shows with her. Maybe next year. Right now I just want to put some miles on her, and get her road worthy again.
P.S.: According to my wife, there is no such thing as a "free lunch."
