I admired this car in my buddy's driveway for years and then I had a chance to buy it. I've owned it for almost a decade. She's a beautiful 1972 Chevy Monte Carlo that is a sometimes daily commuter and often a Friday night car show ride.
Under the hood is a professionally built 383 small block with Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum heads, Holley 750 carb, topped by a Weiand 144 supercharger. We finished the drivetrain with a nicely built turbo 350 transmission with shift kit and an 8.2" 10 bolt posi rear end.
Drivetrain specifics include:
- Comp Cams Roller rockers
- Accel Electronic ignition
- Hedman Elite ceramic coated headers & Flowmaster exhaust
Special order 16" BBS wheels with 275 (rear) and 255(front)/50/16 radials complemented by Hellwig swaybars front and rear with urethane bushings, boxed lower control arms, Hotchkis springs, KYB gas-adjust shocks which make for an incredible ride.
Tommy's Interiors did a beautiful job with new carpet and headliner, custom bucket seats and center console, AM/FM/CD custom painted dash w/ extra gauges. Of course, we made sure to add AIR CONDITIONING as well.
Monte has 7,500 miles since restoration and is in good shape. Enjoy the pics!
