My friend Anthony and I bought this car together two years ago, then I bought him out. We got the car from a lady who had bought a house and the seller left the car there. It was in pretty rough shape, but it fell into good hands. Mine!
Foreman has only a few options-the first and obviously the most important-The Vista package. This package bumped the standard wagon engime from the straight six to a 350 2V Olds. The next engine up (which is the one Foreman has) was the 350 4V. The next one up was the 455 4V, which I dream of at times.
The Vista package also came with the way cool dual action tail gate that both swung open like a door or folded flat like a tailgate. It also got you a power rear window-which is very car crafty and trick.
The coolest thing ever is the Vista glass, when riding in the middle seat makes it appear as if you have no roof at all above you. It was also one (if not the) first to have a third front facing seat. The third seat was not standard equipment and could be ordered in either the Cutlass Cruiser or the Vista Cruiser.
A quick run down of Foreman and what makes him who he is:
1972 Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser
350 4 barrel Olds motor in gold
Turbo 400 trans with shift kit
Dual 2 1/4 stainless exhaust with Walker Turbo mufflers
Code 48 Sequoia Green exterior
Green interior with GM saddle carpet
15" Oldsmobile SSIII Rally Wheels
3:23 ratio open end differential (soon to be posi)
Factory AC (about to be freezing cold)
FM radio (replaced with a Custom Auto Sound AM FM MP3 that looks like an AM radio)
Manual Windows with vent
After market Tachometer to replace clock face
This weekend I have bought a 200-R4 overgrive trans. It will be installed in a week or so. I also am working on new H.E.I distributor. It also finally has the AC compressor and I am adding the correct pulleys for that this week also. My this is a big week for Foreman!
