Description: This album shows the engine progress over the years, starting with the rebirth of the long block at Whitehead Performance in March, 2001, to it's current state. The long block actually started life in a 1980 280ZX Turbo. It was removed from that car in late October, 2000. The car was outdoors at the owners cottage, next to a lake near Peterborough. My friend JP and I removed the engine in one day, but nearly froze to death in the process. The temperature was around 8 C during the day, but once the sun went down, the temperature dropped with it! Our friend Bill, who owns the cottage next door, kept us alive with some hot food and helped us load the engine into his truck well after dark.
