Recently aquired a Dodge Dart sport. Seats were redone has power brakes. Also have a 73 Dodge parts car I plan on pulling the powersteering box from and putting into the 74 not much for armstrong steering althogh It is not nearly as bad as some old bigblock cars I have driven in my time. The Tired 318 just blew a head gastket so looking to put in a new 360 long block with headers dual exhast and edlelbrock maniflold and carb. Then start on the bodywork needs new quarters and fenders. Doors inner aprons trunk pan are all in A-1 great shape. Should be a fun Driver Restomod kind of thing to do to it. One Plus on this over the 73 is it already has Power Disc Brakes on it. Looking to paint it sublime Green I know I can't hide in a crowd very well oh well would rather stand out then Hide anyway. Will try to get some pic posted soon of the Black primer and Green beastie on here soon
So Much for the 360 long block come across a motor from a dirt track boy with only 5 nights of racing enough to be broken in but not enough to be wore out. Should be a great runner 318 with 360 heads and a nice comp cam. Just ad a set of headers and a new dual exhast system and it will be all set.
Hope to get the motor next weekend. Will just have to see what happens but looking forward to getting it in the car that is for sure. Should be a nice little tire smoking hot rod then. Time will tell.
worn out 318 waiting to be replace with a nice new 360. New edlbrock Carb and Manifold as well as soon to be headers and deul exhast with flowmasters. Alum wheels with radial T/A's
Power brakes and Armstrong steering soon to be upgraded to power steering.
Getting ready to drop the 318 in on 4-25. It has a Edelbrock performer intake. 600 cfm edelbrock carb. and a 260dur 440 lift cam with new tube headers and a 2 1/2" exhaust system.
