We purchased this car around 1979 looking for something that would be economical on fuel. The car was used but well cared for. We were surprised as to how much we really enjoyed this car. It did well with gas (at the time) and even though it did not have an air conditioner, it had the most awesome ventilation system that it stayed pretty comfortable. Vents at the kick panels and 3 windows on each side that opened. We only got rid of it when we picked the wrong transmission guy to fix it.
This had a 140 Cu In 4 cylinder engine wth a 2 barrel carb that was rated at 90 HP at 5400 RPM. Speed was not an option on this car. This car had a 94.2 in wheel base and was 169 in long. Bucket seats and a center counsel were standard equipment in this 2 door wagon. The rear seat folded down for hauling.
