A car that would be considered unusual because I owned this for almost 10 years. It was a 1975 911 but I was never clear as to its pedigree. The engine was a 3 liter with Webers, factory whale tail and Carrera steel flaired fenders but the documentation put it as a 911S Targa. Well I didn't care because the car was a lot of fun, was solo raced and drove almost everyday except in the winter. Quite a few cars came and went sharing garage space with it. In the end I kind of went back to rods and the 911 was not used much. The car was only 6 years old when I bought it, had it when I met my wife and when my first son came along. Many, many family stories with this one from solo racing to late night hospital runs.
Sadly this car went to a Daddys boy who never really respected its value or power. I was gassing up one day on the 400 highway and it roared in for gas. That was the last time I saw it, this kid rolled it a few weeks later writing it off for good. Shame when you care for something all that time and it goes to someone who only has the money not the respect for a car. Well his daddy also bought him a pizza shop so I am sure another car also.
