In 1998 I moved to Indiana to be with my new hubby. I owed a Suzuki automatic 450, but he did not have a motorcycle. So he shared his dream of owning a little sports car convertible. We sold the motorcycle & found this little pimento Triumph Spitfire 1500 in Michigan with only 35k on it. The lady who sold it had owned it for 20 years and did not drive it much, her name was "Molly" so the car assumes the name.
Since buying our little car, we have joined many caravan type tours and become members in a couple of good car clubs. My husband (Howard Baugues) for the past six years has been editor of "Spitfire & GT6 Magazine" after many years in various offices of NASS car club. I am now the Membership Chairperson for NASS "North American Spitfire Squadron" a great group of owners who share restoration information & often share parts they have laying around.
