Well, from what seems to come from nowhere, I have had a passion for classic cars for years. And up until a few weeks ago, I had nothing to channel my passion into. I recently bought this beautiful partially-restored '78 Trans Am "Jean" and have doted over her ever since. I have lots of plans for her which will take me years of saving up and doing things myself, but I know it will be well worth it. I will make updates and posts about my progress, but so far I am just trying to get everything working,(a/c, power windows and locks, and window defrost) after everything works, I will then look into engine upgrades and body stiffeners. And who knows, maybe one day you'll see her on the drag strip. But thats WAAAAAAY down the road.
It's kind of a mutt, it is a Z code T/A but the Pontiac 400 is from a "76 pontiac something. The air scoop is also from an earlier model Trans Am so I'm not going to win any factory original car show competitions but, like my motto states, I built it to drive, not to show.
Power steering, windows, and locks. Hurst t-tops, and all the fender flares and spoilers that come with the T/A package.
