This was my daily driver for a couple years, delivered pizzas with it and drove it very hard. It had a pretty much stock G60 motor (supercharged 1.8 from Corrado) in it and would run 14.00's (14 flat, 14.006, etc) in the quarter very consistently despite traction issues. Handled great, was very reliable and VERY fun!
I ended up dismantling it to build the drag car that is also in my garage. To this day its still one of my favorite cars. My Lotus reminds me of the feelings that car gave me, as odd as it sounds both cars are pretty similar to each other as far as driving feeling.

5-speed from 16V Scirocco
All available GTI options although thats not saying much.

Bilsteins & springs (I forget the type)
MSD 6BTM with two step module and retard controller
2.75" straight pipe running to Sebring muffler
Sparco steering wheel
Eurosport front upper & rear tie bars
Scirocco 4-point lower front tie bar
Rear seat & carpeting removed
Shaved hatch (wiper removed)
Single front wiper from MK1 Scirocco
Lots of different wheels/tires on it through its life:

-E30 BMW multispoke wheels
