The car was sold to my son when he was about 18 years old. The car was in very rough condition. He lost interest and was going to sell it. My wife liked the car. To help our son out we purchased it from him. We are now the third owners. We have been working on it ever since. He became an automotive painter and painted the car for us. All body parts were removed and painted seperately.
Engine Block: ZZ4 (NAL-24502609), 4-bolt main, .030 overbore and stroked for 383 cubic Inches, 1-piece rear main seal, approximately 10.4:1 compression, Scat Engine Assembly includes Scat Forged Crankshaft, Forged Rods, Forged Pistons with new rings and bearings.
Induction: TPIS Mini Ram with Fuel Rails and adjustable Regulator, Accel 32 lb. Injectors, Holley In tank high output Fuel Pump, 52mm BBK Throttle Body and Custom Ram Air with K&N
Heads: Cast aluminum 1987-91 Corvette L98 cylinder heads. Which have 58cc combustion chambers, 163cc intake runner volume. They have a 1955-86 bolt pattern with "D" shaped exhaust ports and center bolt valve cover, no exhaust heat crossover passages and the ends of the heads are drilled for standard accessory bolt patterns including angle plug configurations. Ported and Polished. Center bolt style with Proform Tall Die Cast Aluminum Valve Covers.
Crane Gold Race Rockers: 1.6 Ratio self aligning 3/8” stud (CRN-10758-16). Stainless valves and hardened rods.
Cam: Chevrolet “Hot Cam” Hydraulic billet steel roller camshaft (218° intake/228° exhaust @ .050, .525” intake/.525” exhaust) (NAL-24502586)
Cooling: High Performance Reverse Rotation Aluminum Water Pump and Flex-A-Lite Electric Fan, Dual, 12 in. Diameter, 2,500 cfm. Be Cool Custom Fit Aluminum Radiator with Trans cooler and B&M Oil Cooler.
Electric: Powermaster High Torque Starter. Battery moved to the rear in a Moroso Battery Box.
Ignition: MSD Billet Distributor (MSD-8366) (Cap PN8426 Rotor PN 8427) and Melonized Iron Gear (M46 8561) with MSD 6AL with MSD Adjustable Timing Control. Blaster 3 Coil, 8mm Moroso Wires.
