My first car that i've owned for 4 years now, in that time I've painted it three times. after running a stop sign I hit a telephone pole that destroyed the left rear quarter panel. with no autobody experience and very little money I replaced it with one I got off a car in a junkyard in the dead of winter using a battery powered drill. I got it back and welded it on, painted the car Dark Adriatic Metallic.
I almost made it through my first year of school, The beretta's 2.8L threw a rod right through the block two days before the finals. =( Luckily I still got to rock a Beretta at school for those last few days; I borrowed my friend's 96 beretta that I had modded with 3400 LA1 heads and intake system.
after Afew weeks I replaced the engine in the beretta, also the clutch was getting thin from burnouts and racing around school. lol! the new engine is just a get by for now thing and I won't be saddened one bit when It blows! It's replacement is already on the engine stand, waiting...
My new engine is something no one has done before! it's a short stroke 2.8 rotating assembly in a 3100 roller cam block with 3400 LA1 heads and Lower intake topped with a 3500 Upper intake manifold. I'm thinking of a turbo too,
