Man, you've been busy with that thing. You did it right, too... Go before show when it comes to Foxes. Nice car. Got any other big plans for it?

Photo of a 1989 Ford Mustang LX (The Phoenix)

Bought it January 2005. Bone stock with 228k miles. First pass in it I ran an 9.31 (1/8th mile). On bald, dry rotted street tires and a month of driving a stick car. NOT powershifting. Bought 3.73 gears and BFG Dr's in June '05. Dropped to 9.0's (9.05 best) in the 1/8th. Could tell them otor was on its last breath. It lockedu p in august 2005 and I dorpped a fresh 302 with basically a cam and bolt ons. Untuned and first itme out ran an 8.6 spinning. Added an NX wet kit and built the motor from the gorund up over the winter. took it to the dyno and put down 243RWHP and 297 RWTQ N/A with cam, bolt ons and shaved E7's. hit the 100 shot and my fuel solenoids died 1/2 into the pull...laid down 288 RWHP and 434 RWTQ before popping the head gasket. Replaced those and added GT40P heads. never got it lined out right to run it again. Its now Totaled and in pieces.
