Description: The factory muffler finally rusted out and it was time for an upgrade. Follow along the pics to see the install of the new Dynomax from Summit. This was an all day install. First a hanger brace had to be made to suspend the muffler in its factory location. Reducers had to be made and used at both ends. The original tips were welded onto the new muffler. The outboard one had to be tweaked and the inboard one lengthened since the outlets of the new muffler are closer together than the original. The sound? Well, wayyy to much WAAAA for me. Really sounded like a ticked off bee in a stovepipe. Solution? Install a Cherry bomb glasspack just downstream of the cat. Yeah! That made it a nice low tone. Love it!
