When I got stationed in Japan, I needed some wheels. Since I've always owned Domestic cars, I wanted to try something truly unique to Japan. The Daihatsu deffinately fills that bill. It was a fun little car that could hold alot of cargo. I used it almost as a government vehicle for my work which is where the nickname came from. It's top speed was 120 KPH which is about 75 MPH, but it got about 38 MPG. I paid alot for it and had to sell it kind of cheap, but I had my fun with it. If it were street legal in the US, I would have really wanted to take it with me.
660 CC 60 HP I-3 Engine, 5 Speed Manual Trans, 4WD
Single speaker AM radio and A/C. That was just about it.
