I bought this car 5 years ago and have thoroughly enjoyed it. Not a lick of trouble in 53,000 miles.
Like all 2002 Thunderbirds the car is a 3.9 Ltr V8 (260 cu. in.) 265 bhp which will do 0 to 60 in 6.9 seconds. The 2003 to 05 Thunderbirds had 285 bhp but for whatever reason is slower 0 to 60 than the 2002 model, but has a higher top speed capabilities.
I have had the car on the Nashville Speedway and drove it at 118 mph with room to go to the floor boards. The car is well balanced on the big oval and can run anywhere on the track with the Perelli P-Zero Neros. I would estimate the top speed to be somewhere in the 135 mph on the track.
Only comes loaded.
Recently updated the look, added chrome grille surround and Mustang Bullit Wheels to make it look a little more muscular. I changed the stance by 4 inches side to side with more rubber on the road via Perilli P-Zero Nero's; handling and ride greatly improved.
