When gasoline prices started creeping (or should I say jumping) up in the spring of 2005 I was driving a 1972 Chevy C-10 shortbed, step side pickup. 350 ci,w headers, Edelbrock Cam, Manifold and Carburetor, Flow Masters, Dual exhaust (no cross over) 3speed manual trans. Was going to the gas station every other day because I comute 500 miles a week.
Decided it was time to buy something with better fuel economy. Enter the MINI we call Fassbinder. A Cooper is a barrel maker, A german guy building barrels is a Fasbinder, Hence the name.
Bought him for my birthday in June of 2005
Never thought I would enjoy a car this much, Even joined a car club (never thought I would do that) and I have met some great people I consider freinds @ Redwood Empire Mini Enthusiasts
