Well I am a chevy man to start off, an yes fords are my rivals but thats the car world. My first car was a 1980 Monte Carlo i had to sell it because I had no money to put a new engine an tranny in it... sad I know. my next beast was my 1981 C20 Chevy pickup, man what a truck it had a crate 350 edelbrock engine 900 cfm edelbrock Carb an a turbo 400 tranny. But it was a accident prone truck i was hit 5 times but it still held up like they say "Hard Like a Rock"! So i bought a 1979 dodge 3/4 ton pickup it was a pice a crap. So things were good then my girlfriend cheated on me an I needed a new car cuz the dodge broke down so we looked an looked then I found my baby a 1981 Olds Torornado. it wasnt much too look at, at first, i will explain more later...
19 Ft long 0-60 "EST" 14.53 sec 1/4 not yet run. It has a stock 305 V8 an my top speed i dont know speedomator ends at 85 at 2950rpm I still have 1000 RPM to go :)
Oh boy Mods:) pro airflow Edelbock 14" air claner, rebuld 650 CFM carb, Flowmaster super 40, new rear air socks new front an back brakes, new alt, new batt, new heater core ( pain in the ass by the way) new stereo :)))) it has blue L.E.D underglow a killer system. where to start anbout the stero??????? Pioneer Super Tuner 3 deck, (2) Alpine Type E Alpines 800 Watt West coast Orian Amp 2 fared Cap, ported box. I had a Band pass 2 box but it is not a good idea for alpine speakers! with that box I hit 123.8 Dbs not bad when I did it all me self but now it is louder then that i honestly dont know how loud it is a guess would be 135-141.
