No longer owned

This was my first bike ever. Everyone in my family thought I'd kill myself on it. When I found it on craigslist, I told my girlfriend who immeditaly said no, I said I just wanted to look at it. So we went to this guys house and there was this clean old FZR, looked almost new. When I met the guy he showed me his project Nissan 280Z with a blown 350, so I figured this was a decent guy. When It came time to check out the bike I was so nervous I didnt even want to ride it. So the guy took it for a ride for me, lol I could hear him from like 3 blocks away banging gears, and thats when I knew I wanted that bike. When the guy got back my girl friend was in the truck waiting to leave, so thats when I made my deal. The guy wanted $2,200 for the bike, but I told him, sure it's clean for its age but it has 24k, and needs tires and a chain. So I offered him $1,700 he thought about it and said he couldnt do that, then I countered back $1,800 but you need to throw in some straps and load it for me. Thats when the laughed and said ok, but do go and kill yourself.

And of course about two weeks later, I was out running some curved roads at night, hit a patch of sand and down I went. Over all it wasnt too bad, scared faring and a broken mirror. The kicker is that my bike went sliding and one of my friends on a one day old 07 ZZR 600 was waiting on the corner for us to catch up, and my bike went sliding into him and knocked him off his bike. Later that night he ran his bike into a ditch...KARMA...

And if you were wondering about the nickname "Amaha", thats because the letter Y was missing off one side of the tank.
