I sold my 95 Nissan truck and the proceeds bought this Blazer. I bought it in Waco, TX and drove it to N. DFW TX. It ran great but the ride was choppy. Once I was home I jacked it up and noticed that the suspension was in fact cut with a torch and not a name brand set of components. YAY!! That sucked, but whatever it will be changed out anyway. I have been laid up after my ankle surgery and Stumpy has just been sitting and begging me to work on it. I will be able to soon, yippee.

SB 350 lumpy cam (not sure of the specs) sounds great and I (can't wait til I get my exhaust reworked), TH350 transmission. I can not remember if this was rebuilt or not, but it feels stock. It has a clear coat over the factory paint and of course it is peeling. I installed a set of Flow Tech headers with 1 5/8" primaries and 3" collectors using Percy's aluminum multi layered flange gaskets and aluminum crush on the bottom.These were attached to a set of frankenstiened 2" pipes to a set of sounds like 50 series Flowmaster muffs. This could be due to the pipe size. One of the first things to be completed will be the creating and installation of a custom dash bezel to accept the aftermarket gauges. I just need two more to complete the set, speedo and tach. I will be installing either a static drop or a full air ride suspension, but I am not sure which way I want to go yet. The paint and interior will be very basic but exceptionally clean. The wheels will be either the rallies with a set of 10's in the rear or a set of kicka$$ five spoke 20's. I really like both looks but I am still up in the air.
