I couldn't figure out what the heck it was, as it looked like two cars pieced together, until I read your "Mods" paragraph. You will definitely get some looks when its done.

Photo of a 1978 AMC Concord (Connie)

My newest addition. I purchased her off of EBAY, originaly just for the engine so I could use it in a different car. But she's too unique to let her die. So she's going to be put back together, Shes already back on the road, but got alot of body work ahead. The original builder did a good job, the last owner that started tearing it apart.....not so much. But its coming piece at a time. I do know one thing, once I get some good rubber on it and update the suspension......Mustangs beware...Connie will be a sleeper.

Originaly a shes pushing a built 401, unfortunatly I dont know the specs from when the engine was built, I do know she runs like a scalded dog.
Originaly a 4 shes got a Mustang GT 5 speed, had a mechanical clutch that I think I will modify to hydraulic. Its too clumsy
She's sporting an AMX posi rear end, will rip both tires in second gear. .

Factory Options

Almost everything Factory is gone, though it still has Power Steering, Power Brakes, and the AC is still there.

The original builder of the car removed the back seat and shortened the length of the car by 18 inches. Unfortunatly the last owner of the car started tearing it apart and didnt finish, so I have my work cut out for me.
