bought it a few years ago off fleabay, I was looking for a volvo estate but took a shine to this lovely oddball.
ran it stock for about a week before I found some kids sheltering under it in the rain and decided she needed lowering
took the angle grinder to the front spring, lobbed some 2" blocks at the back, hey presto, slightly prettier ugly car!
took her to a few shows towing the caravan and she blew all her water out on the way home from the last show of 2005. she then was left for over a year waiting for open bonnet surgery, this was in the form of a 2.8 V6 and auto box.
gearing is very interesting, giving a top speed of about 100mph, but nice and quick getting there!
certainly surprises a few front wheel drive Euroboxes!
want to paint her this winter and then give her a V8 for christmas 2008, she deserves it.
just got a company van to use and the maz isn't getting used as much as she'd like, took her out sunday and she ran like a sick pig coughing and spluttering! she's got a bit of a downer me for not using her daily like before but she soon starts to play when you hit the loud pedal, lighting the tyres whenever possible.
